Report: Liar, Liar
I currently finished a book called Liar, Liar. There is a boy named Kevin that lies, alot. Even though he tries to make it better for others and himself by lying, like persuading his crush to like him, letting the teachers let him pass tests for no reason, making his friend believe he has a type of disease, it doesn't end well, at all. So he has to apologize like crazy to solve all the conflict. I recommend this book to kids 7+, who sometimes lies, and who loves reading (of course)! I think this book is really funny, hard to put down, addicting, short (perfect for fast readers, perfectly paced, one event after another, and a really, really, fun to read book! That my point of view on this book: Liar, Liar.

"To the Top! Climbing the World's Highest Mountain" By S.A Kramer
This book is very exciting. I think the material inside is well presented.I never knew alot of things that were in the story. For example, Hillary and Tenzing were the first ones to arrive at the Mount Everest's summit. Wow! I think the author chose to use a exciting tone of voice because he or she wants the reader to feel the danger of doing such a unbelievable thing like climbing the Mount Everest. They could have died from many things like fallen off or from lack of oxygen.
However, this non-fiction book is a terrific choice for readers all ages.

Do You Want to Be My Friend? by Eric Carle
My mother and I could not find the book of "Do you want to be my friend?" in public library. When we saw the author of book, we realized that it must be the same author of "The very hungry Caterpillar" and "Polar bear, Polar bear, what do you see?". I would like to recommend "The very hungry Caterpillar" by the same author to everyone. When I was in daycare, teacher read it to me. When I was in Junior Kindergarten, I read it by myself. Now I am in Grade 1, I read it to my little sister. Maybe that is why the author said "For my sister Christa" in the beginning of the book. Now I could almost remember all the words in the book and my little sister like to listen to my reading the book. "In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf..."
Both of my little sister and myself like it. Why?
First, it is an interesting story. The story is about a little egg changing to a little caterpillar and eating a lot of food and changing to a beautiful butterfly! Second, it has beautiful paintings. The pictures in the books are colourful and drew by paint (I think). Third, we could learn a lot of things from the story like the days of one week from Sunday to Saturday, fruits and colors and so on. It is real nature. Finally, it is simple. I could and would like to read it again and again.
