Fancy Nancy - The Dazzling book report by Jan O’Connor
I like Fancy Nancy because she is fancy and the book is colourful. I like reading books just like Fancy Nancy. The story is about Fancy Nancy’s class goes to library and her teacher asks them to write and draw a book report. Fancy Nancy’s mother takes her to store to buy supplies for her book report. Fancy Nancy works too much on the report cover and don’t have time to write the report. When she hears other presentations, she feels nervous and she tells her teacher the reason. Her teacher understands and tells her just to tell the class about the book. She passes the report. Also I learned some Fancy words, PLUME – Feather, Dazzling – eye-popping and a knockout and Thrilling – even more exciting than exciting and so on.
I like Fancy Nancy because she is so fancy.

I don't know grade one student could write this long! Keep on going. You could be a writer when you grow up.
ReplyDeleteWow Fancy Nancy! I think she learn her lesson to not concentrate on covers only. I hope everyone will take her advise to not do that. It wastes time. I also like colorful books Aileen. Maybe Fancy Nancy will become a writer someday! Don't you think so?
ReplyDeleteYes. We think so. If she could not be a writer, she must be a designer or illustrator.
