Junie B. Jones Has a Monster under Her Bed

I just read a book called “Junie B. Jones Has a Monster under Her Bed”. It is a great book.

It started when Junie B. Jones went to school and it was picture day. She wore a dinosaur dress. At class picture, Paulie Allen and Puffer admired her dinosaur dress and said dinosaurs bite people’s head off. Junie B. Jones said that dinosaurs are not real. Paulie Allen and Puffer said that Monsters are real. They bite people’s head when you’re sleeping. They live right under your bed. Paulie Allen and Puffer said monsters crawl on to your bed and bite your head. Junie B. Jones coved her ears. Paulie Allen and Puffer spoke louder, “I can prove it. Do you drool on your pillow?” She said, “yes”. Paulie Allen and Puffer said, “well, are you a baby?” Junie B. Jones said, “I am not”. They said then who drools? Junie B. Jones said that she does not know with a sick face. Then they took the class picture. Junie B. Jones asked her best friends Grace and Lucille whether monsters are real. They said maybe monsters could live under your bed. When she went home she told her grandma that there’s a monster under her bed. Her grandma told Junie B. Jones to tell her mom and dad about it. At night she didn’t want to go to sleep. She tried to sleep in her mom and dad’s room but they caught her. She took her baby brother out and she went in the baby’s crib, but the baby started crying. When it was school, they gave out the pictures, people laugh at Junie B. Jones’ pictures with a sick face. Then she thought of a great idea. When it was bed time, she put the picture under her bed because the monster would think it was too terrifying that the monsters would go away. It did work.

My favorite part is when Junie B. Jones thought of a great idea and the idea worked successfully. I recommend this for 6+.
