A Crazy Day With Cobras

The story “A Crazy Day With Cobras” was about Jack and Annie going to India because their friends Kathleen and Teddy made a mistake. Teddy accidentally cast a spell on Merlin’s penguin Penny, and Penny became a statue! They needed to find the four things to make Penny come alive again. The first thing they need to find was a rare and precious emerald which shaped like a rose. So Jack and Annie needed to travel in time so they went in to their magic tree house. The magic tree house is magic because it can travel in time and go to any places.

So they went in their magic tree house and disappeared in India. They were right beside where Great Mogul lives. Great Mogul ruled over India. He was rich and he always gave Jewels to other people, and Jack and Annie wanted the emerald rose. So they got in, they had a line up to get the Jewels. When it was their turn, they looked and looked and they found the emerald rose!

Next they wanted to find the second thing so they almost went out of Great Mogul’s palace, but the guard blocked their way and said they needed to go to the parade. While they were walking in the parade, Annie saw someone hurting an pregnant elephant so she said to stop, and a guard came up and said you had enough trouble so they got up that elephant and the elephant started to run, and dropped them. Annie asked Jack if the emerald rose was still there. Jack opened his backpack and the emerald rose was gone! They searched and searched and Annie found it！The dad cobra was camouflaged in the grass where the emerald rose was. They tried and did not get it and ran away, and then tried again this time when the mom cobra were sleeping. This time they got the emerald rose, and Jack put it in his bag and they never knew that the father cobra was right behind them! So they ran and ran and then the elephant got them and put them on his back. After the elephant let Jack and Annie see its baby. Jack and Annie returned to their magic tree house that brought them back home.

First I did not realize when the elephant drop them, it is for saving his own baby, and then the elephant came back and save Jack and Annie. The elephant is really nice.

Also, I really like this book because there are lots of adventures in it and how they escaped by the king cobras. If you like adventure stories, this book is the perfect fit for you.
