Report: Blue Willow

I finished a book called Blue Willow, by Doris Gates. I liked the lesson of this book, but the content, okay. Here's a summary.

To Jane Larkin, the blue willow plate is the most beautiful thing in her life, a symbol of home she could only dimly remember and of the time when the family would once again be able to make roots for itself in one community. "How long are you gonna stay?" was always the first question asked of Janey when her parents unpacked their stuff at a house. Some day, Janey promised the blue willow plate, with its picture of a stream and a bridge and a real house beyond, they were going to be able to exchange the disheartening words "As long as there's work" for the bold and confident ones "As long as we want to".

I thought that the lesson for this book is that you may lose faith in others, but never lose faith in yourself.
