I just finished a book called Habibi. I thought the book was okay because it had a little too much love and stuff like that. Here's a summary of Habibi.
The day that Liyana got her first real kiss, her life changed forever. Not because of the kiss, but because it was the day they had to move from St. Louis all the way to Palestine. Though her father grew up there, Lyana knows almost nohing about the rest of her family's Arab heritage. Her grandma and the rest of her relitaves who live in the West bank are strangers, and speak a language she doesn't understand. It is until she meets Omer that her homesickness fades. But Omer is Jewish, and their friendship is forbidden on this land. How can Habibi ever call this place home?
I thought this book was so so because there was too much kissing in it. So if you don't like kissing (me), don't read this book.
