The Forgotten Door
Recently I read a book called “The Forgotten Door.” It was a great book with a lot of adventure and I really liked it. The author is Alexander Key.
This book is about Jon who is from another planet. (A far distant and highly evolved planet that does not eat meat or even does bad) He falls through a door and lands in our planet. He lost his memory but finds the Bean’s to take care of him. He find out about our world and the war and bad of our country. Jon is very smart for he learned English in1 day. He can also read minds and talk to animals. As Jon tries to recover his memory and offer clues about him, he and the beans get into danger. Almost everyone wants him because of his special powers. Not only that but he is also accused for a crime of stealing. I am going to stop the story here so you can read the book to find out what happens next.
My favourite part of this story is when we learn about Jon’s peaceful loving world because it makes me think peaceful thoughts and how our world needs to improve. My least favourite part is when I think about how horrible our world is compared to Jon’s. I disliked this part because we shouldn’t be doing bad we should be nice.
This book teaches us how bad our world is: full of greed and hate. I was sad of how people like us would dare hurt such an innocent child like Jon. This story seems very real and Key leaves me ashamed of our world. Anyway, I really recommend this book and give it five stars. I would rate this book 8+I really like this book.
