Plantzilla by Jerdine Nolen
My drama teacher read it half to us in class and I liked it then I borrowed the book from public library and I finished reading at home.
In the story, the boy named Mortimer likes plantzilla and Mortimer’s parents don’t let Mortimer keep plantzilla because Mortimer played too much time with plantzilla. They would like Mortimer played more time in the Park. During summer, plantzilla grows up and Mortimer waters and cares for plantzilla. It is a surprise that plantzilla, the plant is beginning to eat real food and the plant could play hockey with Mortimer and plantzilla can write letter and finally plantzilla found a perfect home and it is Mortimer’s home.
I like this book because I can image Mortimer takes care of plantzilla like a baby and plant can grow up like human beings.
