I currently finished a book called The Ghost Belong to Me, By Richard Peck. I didn't really understand some parts of the book, but I still liked this book. Here's a summary.
When Alexander notices a light coming from the barn, he thinks his friend Blossom is trying to scare him. But strange and suspicious things are really starting to happen there. Slimy footprints are all over the floor in the barn out of nowhere, and whimpering sounds are coming down from the hayloft. Then one night Alexander really comes face to face with a drowned girl, who brings a crypt warning. Tragedy is looming. Will there still be time for Alex to act on the ghost's warnings?
I liked this book because this was somehow a mixture of humor, horror, and mystery. I also couldn't understand some parts because this book was written in 1979. Even though the name and the cover of the book is scary, actually, the books contents aren't scary at all. This is my report.
