My name is Sam, said Sam. Then they made words. It was a good trick in the beginning. Then, Gus did some bad tricks. For example, at a movie theatre, Gus wrote come in free show. At last they come to a hot dog shop. Sam said Stop! but Gus did not. He said, just a one word thrice. Then he crossed off hot and spelled cold. We want our hot dogs, hot! said the men, not cold! They went away. Gus was caught by a hot dog man and drove off in a car! Just then, the car went bump! it was on a track! Just then a train came! Same had to do something! He got an idea. He lifted the Jar with Gus in it. Then he smashed the Jar. Gus was out! Then, he said to Gus: you know what to do! Gus wrote stop. Very big. lots of times, the train stopped. The driver and his assistant came out of the train hooray for the firefly! From that night and on Gus and Same played together.
Book review:
I like Gus because he has a light. I like Gus because he also stopped a train. I don’t like Gus when he did bad tricks. Then a hot dog man caught him. Gus learned a lesson. He did a good thing at the end. I learned from this story that if you don’t listen to people’s words, you may get in trouble. When Gus got in trouble, Sam helps Gus.
