Predator Showdown

Today, I am going to write another PREDATOR face-off. The longest snake in the world vs. the largest venomous snake in the world. Reticulated Python vs. King Cobra! As you already known, I like predators. Especially face-offs. While the reticulated python has size at its side, the king cobra is called th " the snake eater".

The reticulated python can grow up to 6m. These constrictors have 100 teeth in there mouths! And they can swallow prey whole no matter what the size is. They kill prey by squeezing their body coils around them until the prey can no longer breathe or blood vessels can not travel around their bodies. Their attack and strength is better than the king cobra, but is less smarter. The king cobra has speed, defence on it's side and a venomous bite. A single bite can kill 20 people.King cobras prey on smaller animals, such as smaller snakes and lizards, while the python preys on wild boar and deer.

Reticulated pythons ambush and constrict their coils in order for attacking prey. They mostly live in southeast China and deferent places of Indonesia Islands. The king cobra can grow to 4m, using almost 1-third of it's body for striking and attacking. That 1-third of it's body is very quick for attacking, then delivers it's venomous bite. This predator lives in rain forests and plains of India, southern China. What happens if the silent constrictors meets the venomous eater?

The face-off

The python and cobra meet in southeast China. The cobra spots the moving python off guard with it's sharp eyesight. Still camouflaging, the cobra moves silently toward the slithery python. Just when the python noticed, it was too late. The cobra attacked, delivering a doom and venomous bite. Trying to return the favor, the python uses it's superior strength to wrap it's enormous body around the cobra. It's hard wrapping another snake, so the python only covers more than 1-half of the cobra's body. But, the venom from the cobra is almost covering it's body. Finally the python becomes weaker and loses strength. It unfolds the cobra. The cobra bites again and the python dies. The cobra wins the match.
