The Hardy Boys- The Missing mitt
This is one of my favorite books because how they found the mitt in a matter of time! The main characters are the brothers Joe and Frank and they do not won't to be late for their final team against the Jonston Jupitors! Either team hasn't won the Little Baseball League! The brothers were very late for their final game or their coach, Coach Quinn woudn't let them play! They rode their bicycles as fast as they could. But on their way they rode through bushes and they meet a new old friend, Mr. Mack and his dog, Lucy. Likely they just arrived in the last minute, just in time for practice. And their very best player, Jason has arrived. Not only he's the best player in the Bayport Badits team, he is like the best player in the whole entire baseball league! Practicing about some minutes, Jason yelled. Soon, all the Bandits where surrounded him. Coach Quinn asked him what happened, but he was red-faced. He finally said that his lucky mitt got stolen! That meant that he would not play no matter what! And that the whole team was depending on him and the Bayport Bandits would lose! Just then, a bus came and all the Jonston Jupitors arrived. No one could persuade Jason to play. Jason told them that Conor Hound was standing beside his gears when they arrived. Jason and Conor got into a big fight. Jason said that you where the one who stole it, but Conor said that their was no way he did. Frank and Joe meet Mr. Mack again and asked him that if ha saw anyone that came to the gear and stole Jason's Mitt. He said that he did see someone at the gear and he pointed directly at Conor Hound. Later on, when the game started, Conor Hound was the batter and Frank was just in time to ask Conor. He asked "why were you at the pile of gear earlier ", then Conor said "I was not the thief " Just then Coach Quinn came and ask what was happening? Conor said " he is accusing me of stealing ". The Coach looked at Frank and didn't believe what he was saying so she put him out the rest of the game. Joe went in and said " we were just trying to help". Now, the coach had to put him off the game and with 3 good players down, they were totally going to loss. This game was going from bad to worse!
To find out how they found the thief by talking to Jason, they finally got the lucky mitt and wore back into the game. AND helping the Bandits make a tie with the Jupitors by adding up several points. My feelings went from mad, sad and worried to happy. If you want to read more, I would recommend you to get this fantastic book from a library!

the book has many "twists and turns" (borrow from Melody's words), but you successfully manuever the complicated plot in your book report. i like the way you include quotations in the report because we can directly sense the characters' emotions when they say those words. just one small suggestion,i think it would be better if you could divide the first paragraph into several small ones. overall, well done!
